Summary: Thank you for a lovely stay. Staff were friendly and attentive, and we had everything we needed during our visit. While it can be said that the rooms are a little dated, we felt this was reflected in the reasonable pricing. They were clean, quiet, and offered a lovely view of the green garden space, which made for a peaceful and pleasant environment. We enjoyed relaxing in the bar and soaking in the historic charm of the older part of the building. Being able to take our drinks outside to a quiet garden on a warm afternoon was an added bonus, as was the onsite parking. The only issue we experienced was with the external door key card - we couldn't get the timing right, even with tips from another guest. Fortunately, we we got in each time but this was more luck than skill. Although we didn’t have a chance to try the Indian restaurant due to prior dinner plans, however it looked like a delicious menu. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and would definitely stay again if we’re in the area.
