Summary: We had originally booked in for just one night (Monday) but decided to extend our stay to 3 nights, we had to call the hotel to do this. Unfortunately the night check in, after an incredibly long and hot day, when we arrived we heard very loud music and a number of teenagers in the car park and surrounding area. We were told there was a prom being held. The music would end at 23:00. We went to our room, and of course with the weather being so hot the windows were open. The air conditioning did not appear to work, but there was a small fan in the room. It was uncomfortably hot, and incredibly noisy. The music ended at 23:30. The next day we asked if there was another prom before we left. There was another on Wednesday, which was our last night. The music ended at about 22:45. I do not have an issue with the proms being held, what I do have an issue with is not being told. It must have been known at the time of booking, Knowing we were going to have 2/3 full on busy days, we really wanted to relax and sleep,once we were back in our room. We would have with a degree of certainty not chosen to stay here. Other than that, the staff were pleasant. The room was clean.
