Positive: Honestly, what is there not to like? Celine was an amazing host right from the start. This weekend was meant to be a surprise birthday trip for my girlfriend, and after explaining my vision for the stay, Celine quickly helped set the mood with fairy lights. We arrived slightly late due to some delays, but she was more than accommodating and incredibly welcoming. One night, we had planned to bake a Hagrid cake but forgot the most crucial ingredient FLOUR! Agitated, I was ready to scrap the plan and call it quits, despite having bought everything else. The shops were already closed, and it was the main highlight of the trip. As a complete shot in the dark, we asked Celine if she happened to have any. She came to the rescue, pulling flour from her pantry and having her husband dash it over to us just in time. All hope was restored. Without them, the cake wouldn’t have been possible, and the unforgettable memory of seeing my girlfriend so happy could never have been replaced. The property itself is absolutely insane, we fell in love with it immediately. It is by far the best place we’ve stayed at, and we will definitely be returning. From the cosy fireplace to the expansive kitchen and the attention to detail in the design down to every inch, everything was exceptional, not to mention how immaculately clean it was. We couldn’t be happier with our stay. It was genuinely hard to leave and say goodbye at the end. Highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the Cotswolds and wanting a peaceful place to enjoy away from the noise. That being said you have plenty of shops nearby for your needs.
