The Angus Glens are perfect for hill walking and cycling. The North Esk River is famous for salmon and sea trout fishing. Not to far away are the Grampian Mountains, Cairngorms National Park, Dunnotar and Glamis Castles, Cities of Aberdeen and Dundee within easy reach by trains leaving from Montrose rail station.
