Excellent two bedroom cottage, suitable for parties of 2 to 4, in beautiful Buckden, Upper Wharfedale, the heart of the wonderful Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Tucked away, on a quiet lane behind the village store, yet 3 mins stroll to the local pub you will find Rowan Cottage. Tastefully decorated, and fully carpeted throughout, it is fitted with all the comforts of home. The cottage has Wi Fi, tv/dvd player, freesat, etc.
For the seventh year running we have been rated 3 stars for self catering by the English Tourist Board.
Fitted with all mod cons and a traditional multi fuel stove, it is a real home from home. Situated in the centre of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, so wherever you go you are assured of dramatic views over the surrounding dales and fells. The area is superb walking country, ranging from a stroll to a nearby pub along the river or a more energetic climb up Buckden Pike or Great Whernside, Wharfedales highest peaks, both over 2000ft
Rowan Cottage has a fully fitted modern kitchen with all the usual facilities, including amongst other things, a dishwasher, washing machine as well as fridge and freezer.
The layouts of the bedrooms make the most of the facilities.
The larger bedroom is the Master Bedroom has a super king sized bed with new wardrobe,cupboards, drawers and bedside tables with new lamps. The room has an old fashioned feature fireplace and mantlepiece (for decorative purposes only) as well as comfortable chairs.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds, a new wardobe, drawers and bedside tables.
All the bedlinen and towels have been renewed and are now included in the price.
As is all electricity.
The cottage has Wi Fi and freesat television.
Please note, that mobile phone signals can be erratic in Buckden, as it is a remote are surrounded by mountains.
