Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Easy walk to the bars, restaurants and COOP supermarket. Permit to park at very nearby church car park if needed. (though parking was normally available on road outside) Outside space was nicely in the shade so okay to sit outside during the day. Outside seating area had lights and heater so nice to stay outside late even when chilly. Good TV. Clean, quiet and functional. Cottage stayed cool during the heatwave. All required utilities exist. Generally a nice place to relax in for a few days. Stow on the Wold has many places for for breakfast , lunch, afternoon tea and dinner! Host answers any questions quickly via text if needed.
Negative: Two of the rooms upstairs were small , but since only used for sleeping not a big issue. You can only get to the cottage via the neighboring cottage garden. Not a big issue , just means you find yourself saying hello to your neighbors each time to go out and in! Front gate of the cottages opens directly on the road with no pavement. So just need to be careful to check both ways before opening stepping out. All minor things that are really just part of the charm of the cottage,
Summary: Would stay here again.
