Positive: The house is great, it has a well-equipped kitchen, a great dining area (inside and outside as well), and a spacious living room. It has 3 separate rooms, 2 of them have a double bed and the 3rd room has a sofa bed and bunk beds on 3 levels. We were 5 adults and 3 dogs and we fit perfectly- the separate rooms were great for having the dogs sleep in different rooms. The pool and the outside seating/relaxing area are great. They also have an area to play petang, table tennis, and board games in the living room. The area of the house is fenced, so we did not need to worry about leaving the dogs outside to play and run around. The neighborhood is super calm and quiet, it has a lot of places to visit and go for walks and hikes. We recommend doing a bigger shopping in the nearby city as the options in the village are limited, but that was not an issue for us as we had cars.
Negative: We were really happy with our stay and wanted to recommend this accommodation to our friends and come back another time, but unfortunately, the host showed rather unpleasant behavior after our stay. The day after we left the apartment I was notified by Booking.com that the owner was trying to charge my card for a 500 EUR fine, stating we destroyed the outside seating area. He did not try to contact me anyhow, only submitted the request to charge my card. I messaged the host right away but he didn't reply, although before during our stay, he would reply within 30 minutes. I declined the payment as we were not using the garden seating at all. We used the house, and the pool area, but as we did not even sit on those chairs I was certain that we didn't damage them. A few hours later he texted me back saying one of the chairs was destroyed and that the house was left uncleaned and the cleaning lady needed to stay for 5 hours instead of the normal 2 hours that we had paid for. We were 5 girls staying in the house, during our stay we cleaned as we were at home, we cooked and we washed the dishes, we took out the garbage, and we put all the things in their place. On the last day, the cleaning lady came, checked the house, and started to clean. She said everything was alright and wished us a safe journey home. The price of the apartment included a 140€ fee for cleaning, I would be surprised if that is the price for a 2-hour cleaning. I would also question the level of the cleanliness of a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a garden and a pool that can be cleaned for the next guests in 2 hours. Either way, we were certain we did not damage anything and we left the place as any other time as we travel often, and we declined to pay a 500 € fine. We were really shocked and disappointed in this negative experience as we liked the house a lot and would want to come back again, unfortunately after this experience that won't happen. Such a pitty!
