Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Smooth check in as they use key lock boxes which means no pressure for an arrival time! Instructions inside the lock box on how to find your room, easy to follow. We were in king room 2 Caban Coch which is small but totally fine for a one night stay. Only has a shower. The room felt clean and freshly decorated. Sadly it was raining the night we stayed so we couldn't sit outside in the evening but in good weather it will be magical under the dark skys. The breakfast was hands down one of the best full cooked breakfast I've had. You would easily pay at least £15 per breakfast like that in a nice eatery. There is also cereal and yoghurts too. And not to mention excellent coffee, of which we had 2 each. Our morning server was a lovely young man who even though it threw him a bit accomodated my request to eat breakfast outside. We drove back down to the visitors centre at Elan village and walked back up to enjoy coffee and cake in the afternoon. I would have really loved a Sunday roast but was too full from breakfast!!

Negative: Slight drains smell at times in the bathroom, not a problem to me. You must remember you are in the middle of knowhere!!! Parking next to the house a little tight if other guests don't park considerately. If you choose to sit in the dining room or outside in the evening there could be other guests around you may or may not have time for ;)

Summary: Wonderful stay, will go back!
