Thirsty Mermaid is located in the Casa Marina area just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean.
This beautiful property has 2 floors. Walk into the front door, and you will be greeted with a bright and spacious living room that also contains a wet bar. There are two guest rooms on the first floor with a large guest bath. The laundry room is also located on this floor.
Move to the second floor where there is a larger living area along with dining and a full kitchen to prepare your family meals. The second floor also has two bedrooms, one with an en suite and a guest bathroom for the second bedroom. Each room has its own TV, and the house comes equipped with Wi-Fi. The second floor also has a balcony to sit back and relax after a long day of fun. Or better yet, relax in your own private swimming pool (heated at your request during cooler times)
There's also a covered lanai to take in the island breezes with a cocktail or book, or use it as a gathering spot for family and friends for game night and barbeques. If you truly want to live like a local, there's an outdoor shower to get the authentic Key West experience.
Lots of on and off-street parking is available, driveway can fit a small trailer.
This property is close to the beaches and close enough to Downtown Duval to catch all the activity going on in town.

Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and i rented this home for a month. We were not familiar with Key West, so we had to rely on the listing information. We did look at the google street view which unfortunately outdated. The house was fine. the street was very busy. The house next door looked like a slum, there were holes in the walls, trash strewn all over the backyard, doors washing machines varied trash. The front of their house had dirty carpets which they parked on, basically on which should have been a lawn. there were people in and out all days as the front door was never closed. They often blocked both the sidewalk and our driveway. They threw 2 mattress and assorted trash on the didewalk in front of the house. it was such an eyesore that I could not invite a client of mine over because of this mess. Across the street was an abandoned property. The surrounding street was fine. If you stayed inside and did not look out of the kitchen window or from the top deck it was ok
