Summary: The location of this hotel is fantastic for visiting the middle of the town. The staff members we met were lovely and help. The overall was however met down by a tired looking room. Despite the building being grade 2 listed some definite improvements could be made. In our room, for example, the shower holder was broken so we couldn't take a shower without holding the nozel. The towel radiator was stuck on so the bathroom was roasting. The sealing around the sink wasn't done with much care. The biggest issue however, was the bed. For some reason the mattress that was on the bed was bigger than the actual bed frame. This meant that the outside 6 inches of the bed on both sides were unusable as the mattress would bend as there was no support. I would stay here again, but not for the full price of the room. Overall a pleasant stay, the place just needs some tlc.
