Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was perfect for exploring Ripon on foot and was within 100 metres of several restaurants. Evening meal was very good. The room was spacious with a king-size bed and excellent en suite facilities. Car parking was off site but reasonably priced overnight parking was found close by. Convenient centre for visiting the many attractions in the surrounding area.

Negative: Though the 'continental breakfast' was enjoyable, I was expecting to be offered the choice of a cooked 'English' breakfast.

Summary: Enjoyable stay in a city with much to offer.
