The Roost @Camp Driftwood is the perfect spot to spend a weekend or week! Just 15 mins to Asheville, this 2nd floor apartment sits directly above the French Broad River. Located @the north end of Camp, the Roost is an elevated experience:) Queen bed w/ nice linens make for good sleeping after creating a masterpiece dinner in the full kitchen. Sprawling back yard, river access & outdoor shower are shared with up to 4 people in the lower unit. Private porch provides outdoor dining and river views!
The Roost is part of Camp Driftwood Asheville, a tiny Campground/Cottage property that spans a 1/3 of a mile of direct French Broad River frontage. We may see you as we access the laundry space in the basement, but we are usually in motion if we are onsite. You may encounter guests from lower unit entering or exiting the unit and the back yard area is shared with (up to four) guests in the lower unit. If you are up for making new friends you can cruise up river along the river path and make friends in any of the other 4 units or some of the tent ca pers at the south end of the grounds. There is a community firepit up near the mill ruins and you will find a shared swimming beach near the Glamping Cottages in the middle of the property.
You have a private bedroom, full bathroom, living room, kitchen, and porch at your disposal. You and the rest of our guests have access to the length of the property to walk, sit by the river, swim, tube, or fish! Big fun is walk up to top end of of property and tube down to your unit!
