Summary: Check in instructions were very unclear and communicated via text because there isn't any on-site staff. This could be a cool little hostel-hotel but the bathroom was brutal. The door knob fell off while I was inside the bathroom, which temporarily trapped me in the bathroom, and it wasn't communicated that the old, seemingly decorative, oversized key on our fireplace mantle was actually the key to the bathroom. Soap and shampoo solely consisted of a half-empty Head and Shoulders 2-in-1 bottle. It's a good place to stay if you just need the convenience of a good location (location is really great here) and have no intentions of hanging around the hotel.
