Lovingly restored, preserving as much of the original soul as possible, it promises to be a luxury stay in understated sophistication with 100% linen sheets, beautiful kitchen/dining, lovely private outdoor space, tranquil idyllic work/recharge areas, and enough space to make your own history. Located directly on the beautiful Michigan Wine Trail, this beautifully restored 1800s schoolhouse has everything for a unique and luxury stay.
Surrounded by tranquil farmland, walking distance to Tabor Hill and Round Barn wineries, close to all that the Great Lakes Region has to offer.

Family owned and operated, we have sought to preserve history and honor times past with original pictures, maps, and poetry by civil war veteran Eli Helmick, who grew up next door on the grange. We have also set out to preserve this living time capsule for the future of our family and the memories of yours.
