The Barn Escape | House in Coolabine

The Barn Escape" is an authentic, self-contained rustic farm barn located on 60 picturesque acres. Situated in the stunning Obi Obi Valley, this farm styled haven is just 5 minutes from the popular township of Kenilworth in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. It is also about 30 minutes to Montville or Eumundi and 15 minutes to Mapleton falls.
If you are looking for a romantic gateway, somewhere to escape from your busy schedules or if you love camping but like the comforts of home, “The Barn Escape” would be an ideal place to stay.

The Barn has an open plan lounge room, kitchenette and dining. The kitchenette is fully equipped with an induction, coffee machine, cook top, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, blender, crockery & cutlery and pots and pans. Long life milk, sugar, spices, olive oil and cereal are supplied at no extra cost. You can also cook meals on the outdoor barbecue if you like.

Take a stroll along Coolabine creek which runs through the property or even have a picnic in by one of our favourite spots and listen to the sound of nature.

About the Space

“The Barn Escape” is the old dairy farm’s original rustic building. The interior has been carefully renovated leaving the exposed beams to create a unique & comfortable space for everyone to enjoy. There are two living spaces, one main bedroom with three beds (queen, king single and single), adjoining the bathroom and the larger space has the kitchenette, dining and air-conditioned lounge room.

Guest Access:

The Barn is on a shared property about 70 metres from the main residence which is permanently tenanted. We the hosts live about 80 metres from the Barn.

HOUSE RULES

• No children under 12 years of age due to electric fencing, creek and dams on the
property.
• No parties
• No Smoking
• There are no pets or dirt bikes allowed at this place as we have wildlife and farm
animals that reside here.
• You are welcome to walk around the property, but please do not enter any paddocks
containing horses or cows. Please do not feed the horses or cows.
• Owners of the property are often working doing maintenance but are very
conscious of your privacy.
