Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Breakfast was light and delicious, a typical Italian fair of pastries and espresso. Very good for the location/size of the town. Walking distance from fonte Dianna piazza and the 'main' areas. Supermarkets/touristy shops are close by if needed, and it's a good home base if your planning to explore the wider area. Super kind staff, just make sure you call and communicate alot with them. Knowing Italian and Google translate helps a bunch. It's a modern and unique stay in comiso, and with the larger sizes of rooms/uniqueness of each one, feels very modern compared to others in the area. There's folding sofas that can become beds too if really needed in our room. Don't go in expecting a Hilton, but go in expecting a VERY good hotel room considering price and location, fit my budget perfectly at the time. Price point was my main consideration along with the room size. The terrace is gorgeous, you have perfect views of comiso and the mountains behind, highly recommended during sunrise or sunset. Breakfast is served there or in your room but you need to request it. It's enough fuel for the day but still allows you to consume a fair amount of cannolis afterwards. I should also point out their 0/bottom floor suites are excellent for elderly guests that might not be able to climb stairs well, the stairs outside to the room are very roomy and should be ok for anyone with mobility issues, outside of being wheelchair bound.

Negative: Biggest complaint would be the plugs by the bed are the old style Italian plugs, not the new modern ones that work with most adapters so we had to charge our devices by the door or in the bathroom which has the modern connector. Can be fixed by just fixing the plug. TV had to be programmed each time it turned off and the location was a bit odd for the bed location, may be odd for some Americans. no vent in the bathroom, make sure to open a window for a few moments before leaving for the day. Shower needed to be cleaned a bit more, but passable by my standards and really roomy comparing to other places in the city.

Summary: A very roomy suite with idealistic views of comiso, a must for someone exploring South east Sicily
