Casa Fuego sits on the best location in Playa Negra. Gazing over the beautiful infinity edge pool to the breaking waves at Playa Negra you will realize how good life is. The beach is located just beyond your gate so a day at the beach is just a few steps away. After a long day of relaxing, amazing sunsets will welcome you here every evening and will make your stay at Casa Fuego something you will never forget.
WHY PLAYA NEGRA? You're probably looking at multiple locations in Costa Rica. If a selection of uncrowded beaches, wild-life, a laid-back atmosphere, no high rise buildings, no franchises, multiple surfing breaks and tranquility are on your vacation agenda. Then the beach town of Playa Negra is a great place to kick back and enjoy your much needed time off. In Playa Negra you can capture the way Costa Rica used to be. If you want to visit a tourist town, itโs only half an hour drive to Tamarindo for shopping, Subway, the US style grocery store the 'AutoMercado' and shop after shop of souvenirs.
HOME INTERIOR LAYOUT: It is very important to point out that Casa Fuego does not have any handrails on the 2nd story and there are many drop offs around the pool and patio area. We like to let parents of young children know this. We have lot's of parents who bring young kids but it's a personal choice and you have to make sure to keep an eye on the kiddos. There are sliding doors to keep the children from accessing the porches and pool and patio area. The two story house features three bedrooms and one bath on the first floor. Two of the bedrooms open out on to the spacious first floor deck and pool area. All three main house bedrooms have air conditioning.
On the second floor a large living area with a wall of sliding glass doors offers you incredible ocean views. The sliding doors lead out to the second floor deck complete with a seating area and hammock to help you enjoy Casa Fuegoโs million dollar view. Living area also includes a kitchen, with breakfast bar, large dining room table, TV/VCR and second bath. The 2nd floor has air-conditioning.
This house can accommodate more guests with an amazing separate second floor fully furnished efficiency apartment with kitchen and large bath. The apartment is air conditioned. This area also has an extra large, covered deck with amazing ocean views, a perfect place to enjoy the sunsets.

OUTSIDE: A large first floor covered deck with a table and chairs is the perfect setting for lunch and dinner. A beautiful infinity edge pool and deck with lounges complete this amazing outdoor living area. The second story deck affords amazing ocean views. Lush landscaping and an outdoor shower add to the tropical feel of this Costa Rica beach house.

BEACHES: Enjoy a small beach directly in front of the house, this beach is mainly rock with many tide pools to explore. Through the gated ocean-front community, stroll 5 minutes on palm and hibiscus lined roads to the Playa Negra Reef Break, Sandy White Swimming Beach and Open-Air Restaurant and bar. It is a short 5 Minute Drive to Playa Avellanas North (white sand, reef/ sand surfing, restaurant), and 15 minutes drive to Playa Junquillal South (black sand, beach break surfing). We will be glad to point you to other beach options in the area.
LOCATION: This home is just under 2 hours from the Liberia Airport and 4 hours to the San Jose Airport. It is just 20 minutes to a great Zip-Line tour, or take a sunset horse-back tours leaving directly from Casa Fuego. 50 minutes away from a covered river boat ride full of wildlife. 20 Minutes to Hacienda Pinella Beach Club and Spa, 35 minutes to Tamarindo for shopping, under 3 hours to Rincon De La Viejo Park (canopy tour, river tubing, waterfalls, horse back rides & hot spring mud baths).
