Seafoam Cottage vacation rental house is a two bedroom, two bath home on historic Second Street in Cedar Key, Florida. Seafoam was constructed in the 1880's and is rich in Cedar Key history. The new owners have remodeled, added on and refurnished it in a happy island style.
You'll find a comfortable living room with large sectional couch. Perfect for friends and family commiseration. WiFi is provided and we have a Smart TV without satellite. The house has central heat and air. The Master Bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed and the guest bedroom has bunk beds with a full size bed on the bottom and a and twin on top. Two bathrooms, the master has a tile shower and the guest bathroom has a clawfoot tub shower combo.
Kitchen is fully furnished and has dining for 4-6. The backsplash is a work of art in itself. It is a one of a kind handcrafted seaside themed creation of the owner. Everything is supplied here for cooking and dining.
The back yard is private and has a fire pit and wooden Adirondack chairs. It is beautifully planted with tropical plants.
The front porch is cool and comfortable and faces 2nd Street with a giant Live Oak tree nearby. Just two doors from Seafoam is Tony’s Seafood Restaurant and the coffee shop, The Daily Grind and 1842 Mercantile. You can almost smell the aroma of coffee brewing when you step onto the front porch in the morning.
There is a parking space off the street for one vehicle at Seafoam. Other parking is street side and is first come first served.
The convenient location of Seafoam cannot be overstated. You can literally walk to every restaurant, shop, attraction, beach, golf cart rental, kayak rental & boat rental. And we now have two cool island cruiser bikes waiting for you when you arrive. Tour the entire town and island on these bikes . You'll be stylin'! You simply do not need to get back into your vehicle at all while you're staying in the Seafoam Cottage.

-Please be careful where you park, don't block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic
-Parties and/or events are not allowed
-No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke
-Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine
-No unregistered guests, $100 fine per person for over the listed limit of guests
-Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom
-Quiet hours 9 pm to 9 am
-Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $200/hr past 11 am checkout fee if not arranged in advance.
-Please take care of the furnishings. Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if there’s a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more.
-Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
