Summary: The hotel is situated right at the exit and entrance to the freeways which is challenging for ingress and egress and can get loud (traffic) an lots of homeless people in the area as well. Location is a good walk for getting to Little Italy and the Pier. The room was exactly what you need to get a good rest and sleep. Nothing fancy, very unfussy lodgings. This place minor updates,nothing impressive,what i call a lipstick update. Good clean, bathroom, bedroom, and bedding. Beware! This property does not have an ice machine nor vending machine on site. The front desk suggested I walk across to the gas station a block away to get what I needed. I was unaware of this before I booked. Also no coffee machines in the room. Urgh!!! Lastly, the parking lot is small and in an effort to accommodate all guests vehicles cars were double parked bumper to bumper. Urgh! I was not able to back out and leave at my convenience. I had to go to the front office, report the car number that I was blocked in by, and let the front desk know that I needed to exit. Then I had to wait for front desk to contact the car owner as well as wait for car owner to come move their car. This took about an extra 30+ minutes from the time I walked down to my car with luggage to leave. Very inconvenient for lodging we will stay away from this lodge. Not priced right.
