Summary: a lovely hotel in the center of Washington DC, with very nice and comfortable rooms. They offered a glass of champagne upon check-in which was very nice. Loved the robes and slippers in the room. Rooms are quiet and well appointed. I loved having a table and chairs that were comfortable. Some suggestions- can the complementary in-room coffee have big cups instead of just the espresso-size cups. I made two and it was still NOT enough. And, can the in-room thermostat work? Mine was turned off and set at 68 degrees. BRRRRR.... And lighting in the room could have been better. Mostly reading lamps that were VERY BRIGHT (which is welcome), but how about a real lamp instead on one of the two bedside tables?
