Fistral Beach is less than 15 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive. This renowned surfing beach is great for both beginner and experienced surfers, with lessons and gear hire available from the beach front. Fistral has great facilities including several cafes, The Stables pizza and a Rick Steins restaurant. The beach is lifeguarded year round so is child friendly. However, for those with very young children, Towan Beach is a lot more sheltered and is less than 10 minutes walk. Just past Pentire Headland you'll find the renowned Lewinnick Lodge, which is a beautiful spot with stunning panoramic views. For keen walkers, the South West Coast Path runs seemingly endlessly in both directions and can be picked up at any point along the coast. Further affield, the world famous Eden Project can be reached in around 30 minutes drive and the art-hub of St Ives in about 40 minutes.
