Summary: The grounds and pool are lovely, the views sublime, and the rooms are clean. The staff is warm and welcoming-- I left an item at the airport and they were very patient and kind in helping me get it back. We enjoyed the 10 minute walk down the staircase to the sky gondola to get into Taormina Center-- a pretty way to start the day. Then the stairs back up later were my workout (or it's easy to get a taxi). Taormina is a pretty, fun town to visit (with incredible food!) but I was glad we stayed in a more peaceful place off the beaten track.
