Summary: We had a pleasant stay at the Rendezvous Hotel. Communication through Hotels.com was excellent — the staff responded promptly and were helpful throughout our booking. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, and basic essentials, making our stay convenient. We also appreciated the on-site laundry room (open 6 AM to 9 PM), though be aware it’s coin-operated — coins are available at the front desk. The gym was a nice bonus for keeping up with our routine. The highlight was definitely the balcony, offering stunning views of the bridge and Opera House — a perfect spot to relax. The only downside was when a cruise ship docked, it completely blocked the Opera House view. Also, while the room was clean overall, the carpet was very dated and looked worn, and could use an update to match the rest of the space. Overall, a good stay with fantastic views and a great location!
