Positive: Our host very kindly accommodated our request for early check-in. Excellent communications throughout the entire process from booking, to arrival & final personal check-out. We also appreciated the same welcome gift of a local speciality ; - ) The location worked very well for us and we liked being able to walk to a nearby beach (circular coasdtal birdwatching walk). A lovely compact property - very clean in quiet neighbourhood. A few locals and many rental properties. Open plan ground floor: lovely spacious kitchen with excellent equipment incl. dishwasher, adjacent area a little more compact with a dining table and view over small garden patio & a "front room" area with sofa by the pellet stove for cooler days. Worked well for the two of us but with 6 might be a little tight on space espec. on comfortable seating. Upstairs 3 very nice bedrooms with pleasant decor and very practical shelving and wardrobe space and super comfortable bed. The 3 bedrooms share the one upstairs family bathroom (shower over bath).

Negative: Altough described as having "two bathrooms" there is only ONE FULL bathroom to share UPSTAIRS. Downstairs is an additional TOILET in a small space immediately off the kitchen... with no possibility to wash hands in this cloakroom itself. The small outdoor patio only has a wooden bench-table. No doublt this works well enough for picnic style outdoor eating with children ... Not the most comfortable outdoor seating arrangement for guests of a certain age.
