Summary: The apartments are exactly as pictured. Close to the beach, although the beach here is quite small (more fishing boats and docking around), and can get busy/not so calm since it’s in the center of the town. Definitely easy to get to anywhere in Playa del Carmen and do tours, dine out and shop. We traveled with older parents and little kids so everyone hung out by the pool - the lounging area is quite big and nice at Magia. Staff members work very hard and are prompt with service requests like cleaning. The elevator was down when we came due to wider power outage but the service staff was helpful in carrying our luggage up. The building area itself is not the most accessible with strollers; need to lift and walk at several places but it’s all manageable. Building entrance is gated with door codes that change often so it’s quite safe.
