Positive: Based in lovely grounds with plenty of seating space and spectacular garden. The room we stayed in was very large with a great sized bathroom. Pool was an absolute blessing while temperatures sore past 40 degrees. Pool table was a pleasure in the evenings and provided great fun. A lovely place to stay. Maria the host was a delight and spoke very good english. She also makes very good tarts and jams.
Negative: On arrival we were surprised to find a shared kitchen. From the “booking.com” description we were expecting to have a self contained room with kitchenette / fridge freezer and cooking hob. The shared facility is very small. The “booking.com” description definitely needs updating as it’s misleading. Other guests we spoke to felt the same way. However! It was very well equipped and had all the plates, bowls, pots & pans you would need to cook anything desired.
