Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped house, with large garden and sitting out area. The owner provided a warm, if lengthy welcome, with some great ideas for days out.
Negative: Late arrival time. No working WiFi throughout our stay. Difficult to enjoy the wildlife that came around the property, with a number of upsetting animal welfare issues in the vicinity; pets kept in less than ideal conditions, a large hangar nearby used for battery chicken farming (can be smelt & heard at some distance, and ruined the evening stroll round the block), having the local rook catcher directly opposite (very distressing to see wild birds crashing against the wire netting of a trap cage, in 30 degree plus heat, presumably awaiting their fate).
Summary: A good property in a great location, but with too many downsides.
