Summary: This resort is under new management. The owners and staff are very nice and helpful. We were allowed to check in early, and the resort taxi is cheaper than Grab. The breakfast is basic but good. The resort is walkable to the beach, but the walk to the main street is a bit far. However, there are many restaurants in the alleyways along the way to the main street. This resort has potential to be restored to a nicer condition. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept with mature trees, but the buildings and equipment (e.g., bicycles) have aged and do not match the pictures listed online. The rooms need a lot of maintenance, especially in the bathrooms, which could use a thorough cleaning due to the presence of many insects and algae growth. The shower window is exposed to greenery and lacks a shower curtain. The Wi-Fi is very spotty and unreliable in the guest rooms, with good signals only at the bar and dining area close to the entrance.
