Positive: The views from the front windows ( in fact from every window) - out onto the beautiful sea inlet are just gorgeous. It is such a beautiful, restful landscape. The sunsets were stunning! Watching the changing faces of the inlet through the day, in rain or sunshine, dawn or dusk - was so restful and refreshing. The cottage was beautifully appointed - a lovely aesthetic was created in its colours and furnishings. It had a really lovely ambience. All indicated a great deal of care and love had been invested into this home. And we felt very comfortable and at home there during our stay. We Also enjoyed the beautiful towels and linen. And the wonderful gas log heather which earned the entire house beautifully.
Negative: Our ONLY complaint, was that there were a lot of bothersome flies in the house. This is a very organic toxin free home which we appreciated. But the flies kept reproducing!! We couldn’t find aerosol to solve the problem. And our fly swat was inadequate for the task of eliminating them.
Summary: This is a most beautiful, cosy property - inside, with mother - nature excelling herself outside.
