Positive: The location is good. There is presently, construction on a bridge just within a few hundred yards of the property. Once that is done, there will be easier access to Punta Gorda. The room was new and some utensils for eating, along with your own jug of water. Staff was very accommodating to make the stay more pleasant. I enjoyed being a part of their lives from time-to-time during the week. The Carib. sea is just crossing a two-lane road with easy access to us. I also noticed a lot of unusual items in the room to enhance your visit. There is great effort made by staff to make your stay as pleasant as it can be. I found my room was greatly cool at night because of the breezes from the sea, which meant no use of the air condition.
Negative: There is a lot of work in order to bring this property to its full potential, but it did not affect my stay. Also, I was not aware that the property does not accept traditional credit cards, so I had to work out a plan for payment. Again, the staff was extremely helpful and went to great lengths to help me get cash payment to them.
