Summary: Once we were checked into the correct property, the stay was ok. The driver did show up to pick us up at Cairo Airport, so we started on the right track. The driver, was nice and spoke good English, he mentioned he was just the driver for the hotel and he had a day job at another hotel during the day. He drove us at 2:30am to a Hotel called Pyramids Glory Inn, they made me believe this was where I made my reservation. Filthy place, my room on the last floor, no elevator. I refused to stay here because this was not the place I reserved. After they saw me upset, they told me that had another property around the corner and they could show it to me, to see if I liked it. Of course this is where I had made my reservation, Giza Pyramids Inn, with a roof top restaurant, elevator and my room with the view of the pyramids. To my surprise our driver was there, in charge of reception with another guy. They mentioned to go rest and tomorrow management would talk to me about the extra payment. I told them I had already paid and there were no conversations to be had. They never bothered me again. If the driver would have taken me to the right property the first time, they would have gotten a 5 all the way. They try to scam you, if you let them. They have multiple properties and they put you wherever they feel like. I had my reservation and room details with the name of the hotel. They think because you are tired and jet lagged, you will just take what they give you. Be careful!
