Positive: House is beautiful and very, very clean and comfortable. Perfect for our stay recuperating from surgery.
Negative: We rented the house for about 2 weeks. The management company did a great job of providing all the necessary items listed in the ad and were attentive to our concerns regarding maintenance. That being said, as well as the fact that this is a beautiful house the downside is that it sticks out like a sore thumb given its location in kind of a run-down neighborhood. All the neighbors we met were very friendly, but when we booked it we were expecting a place where we could take walks in a nice atmosphere and/or be able to spend time outside. This location is not the place for these two amenities. For example, the property advertises a balcony. Most people reading this would get the impression that they could spend time on the balcony. In reality it overlooks --seems virtually on top of--the neighbor's roof. The property location has basically a zero lot line so the units are quite close to their neighbor. There is no furniture on the balcony so future renters should not expect to enjoy the balmy weather from this location. The unit (there are 2) that we stayed in--the front, larger one--has a lawn area but it has no hedge or plantings--or furniture-- to offer privacy so when you open the large roll-up blinds to exit to the patio from the living room you are directly facing the street and passers-by can see directly in to both the patio and the first floor of the house. Given the neighborhood in which this rental is located, one would tend to want to have more privacy. In all, this is a really beautiful home; very well done and thoughtfully furnished; however, given the neighborhood in which it is located and its lack of outdoor space, I think it might be a bit pricey.
