Positive: Well appointed. Plenty of space for my family of six. Didn’t stay long enough to use the kitchen, but it appeared to be well-stocked including ice trays which is always a plus for Americans used to cold stuff. It wasn’t super close to downtown and on a quiet street, but there are tons of restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
Negative: 1) it advertised and I booked mainly for the included parking garage. However, I realized that meant we had to find a place to park, go inside, get the keycard, and only then could go park. Thankfully, the husband could wait while I went to get the key and there was available street parking. However, this could have been very problematic. 2) once we got to the parking space, only then were we told there was a height limit to the car. Even though our car measures 2 inches higher than the limit, we were able to park. But it was very nerve wracking. This should be listed right at the beginning especially with traveling people from the US with bigger cars. 3) When we got there, I got booking messages offering help and even an emergency text number. I texted about garage height in a freak-out mode and heard back way after we left the garage. After getting back to our place at 10 pm in a super hot Montreal day, I asked if the ac worked as it looks like it did. I finally heard back at 3 am which of course I didn’t get. Although she said there’s an AC, we never figured out. It never occurred to us that we might need one but it was like 20 degrees higher than the average temp. If you’re going to claim to be available, be available.
Summary: Good but don’t book just for the parking!
