Negative: Asked to deposit $1000 which I have to paid list I forfeit my booking fee which was already deducted from my card and I noticed this one day to check-in, considering the total amount of the booking was $1024. Surcharge of $31 for credit card, photo ID and selfie, When I arrived the suburb, they will not give me the address of the house until I provide then with the number of guest which I provided during booking, three emergency contact numbers despite my explanation that it was a family event and that I came with my family. This was around 9pm on the street in Brisbane. She eventually gave us the address of the house and access key when she was given two emergency contact the the stated conditions just when I started exploring the option of looking for another hotel to book for my family and me that night. I felt disappointed that after I paid $1024 for three nights and $1000 deposit plus credit card surcharge plus the photo ID and credit card details that I could be subjected to this. With over 10 years of using booking.com and staying in various accommodations over the country, I have never been ask for such conditions or go through such.
