Positive: Appartment was very clean and well presented on arrival, and the hosts were super friendly and full of local information. Almost all the essentials were provided, although we did have to request a couple of items that were missing or runout. It's a pleasant albeit steep walk into the town where you find a supermarket and a few suprrisingly good restaurants, but we spent most days travelling by car to nearby hiking routes and on the grossglockner - stunning scenery! Bathroom facilities are beautiful but comes at the expense of navigating a very cramped bedroom. Fortunately the bed itself was good quality so our stay was generally very comfortable and relaxing. Cannot comment on the breakfast as we elected to arrange ourselves at a fraction of the cost.
Negative: Some of the facilities in the appartment malfactioned during our stay, including the coffee machine, cooling hob and TV which we had to spend time figuring out ourselves. The EV charger also didn't work at first because our card had not been initialised, but this was resolved the following day. The Smart TV was very cheap and unresponsive, with only Netflix available - at this price I expected a mid range TV at least, with Prime Video also available to use our own accounts, something that would be trivial to setup. We tried to use the whirlpool once but it requires manually starting a fire yourself hours in advance - completely impractical! We also lacked decent sized bowls, sharp knives and ordinary mugs. Basically, lots of small niggles that could have been avoided with a bit more attention from the hosts. In fact I wouldn't normally mention them, but at the nightly rate we paid (over €350) I expect these things to be perfect or resolved immediately.
Summary: Very elegant appartment stay in the mountains, albeit overpriced for the services available
