Summary: Room was comfortable, air conditioning worked well, and host even carried my heavy bag upstairs for me. There was nobody there when I arrived despite it being the check in hours. One thing I’ve realized after 2 weeks in Sicily is that the norm is for the hosts not to be present, so if you want more privacy and freedom that’s good. If you need lots of assistance might not be so good. But that’s been overall all over the islands. But when I arrived I had to call them and wait 5-10 minutes for them to arrive. In my experience also almost no English was spoken, but we managed to communicate and make things happen, and that was enough for me. I also enjoyed the privacy. There’s no breakfast included or available to purchase, you have to make your own arrangements.
