Positive: The villa was just superb, one of the nicest properties we've stayed in, set in a fantastic location on a hillside with amazing views over the Iznajar reservoir, and a short drive from the gorgeous village of Iznajar. The villa was very well equipped, with pretty much anything we needed in the main kitchen and the pool bar/kitchen, and the bedrooms were large, with good AC and in the case of the master bedroom, a balcony with a stunning view which was great for breakfasts. The outside space was fantastic, split across multiple levels with lots of areas for sun or shade, a barbecue area, hammock and of course the pool, which was perfect for keeping cool in the heat. Our host Jim lives in the other half of the building that the villa is in, but this was not a problem at all and we felt we had the place completely to ourselves, with Jim popping over once a day to tend the pool and the plants. We were however able to take full advantage of Jim's dogs Finn, Seamus and George, who we were able to let through when we wanted - always a bonus for a dog loving family! Jim was also on hand if we needed him, and always available with advice and recommendations.
Negative: Very hard to think of anything that was a problem at all! The layout of the villa has a lot of steps, and might not suit someone with mobility problems, though wasn't a problem for us.
