Cameo Cottage is a wonderful, newly renovated two bedroom holiday home located in the quaint village of Knodishall, only 3 miles from the picturesque seaside village of Thorpeness and the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Perfect for a family or small group of friends, this lovely country cottage has been furnished to a high standard and benefits from a generously sized enclosed rear garden with patio and outdoor furniture, ideal for an evening drink and meal during the long summer evenings.
Upon entry through the back door, you are welcomed into a well-equipped, shaker-style kitchen that has a family bathroom off to the right and leads into a dining area with an extendable table that can seat up to 6 people. Towards the front of the cottage is a cosy lounge with a fantastic wood burner, armchair and two sofas, one of which is a double sofa bed. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, the main one being accessed through the second bedroom which doubles up as another living area if only one bedroom is required where you can sit and enjoy the far-reaching view of open fields.
There are numerous footpaths on your doorstep whether you want to explore the surrounding countryside or plan a longer walk where you can access the coastal areas such as Thorpeness, Sizewell and Aldeburgh with maps provided for your use.
Further afield Southwold, Walberswick, Snape, Orford and Dunwich are all just short drive away where you can discover more of the coastline and try out the fantastic cafes, pubs and restaurants.
Please note the cottage is a typical old cottage and there are low ceilings and a particularly low beam in the kitchen area so please take care when moving around. This property is pet friendly.
