Positive: There was a friendly, thoughtful owner who showed us around and she had made cake and left chocolates ready for us. Much appreciated after our long hot journey. I'm pretty sure that the cake was Bara Brith but it was absolutely delicious. The annex was clean, homely and comfortable and everything we needed was there including a bed with a comfortable mattress and a good amount of storage. The garden was really lovely and we spent quite a bit of time trying to identify the birds and their singing. Lidl supermarket a short walk down the hill. Good base for visiting places of interest. If you leave the property turning left along the main road, in a short while there's a lovely view looking down over the estuary.

Negative: The only thing that could have been tricky was the entrance to the property as it's on the corner where two roads meet. Luckily my husband has excellent spatial ability and it wasn't a problem !

Summary: Lovely, well equipped homey place to stay with a friendly lady who was on hand if needed
