Summary: Initially I was concerned as I was not familiar with the area, and it looked a bit rough, but the neighborhood did not matter because the owner makes sure the home is secure. Even taking extra precautions to ensure that the front door lock and your room lock is secure, and you have your own parking spot. The house was close to shopping, and it was easy to get to work as I was out of town for a job. The bed was comfortable, I had one of the rooms with my own bathroom, and the kitchen was shared. There were other guests there, and all were friendly. We socialized, talked over dinner, and everyone retired to their rooms. Was a pleasant experience.
