At the rear is a large seating terrace, with a pergola providing a delightful area for al fresco entertainment. The large formal lawns surround the house, with an array of established trees providing plenty of seclusion and privacy. Boasting an outdoor heated swimming pool (seasonal opening), and beyond the pool is a hard tennis court for guests’ enjoyment. Step inside and you are greeted by an impressive reception hall, the graceful sweeping staircase serves access to the dual aspect drawing room with marble fireplace and wood burner. A dual aspect sitting room has doors leading to the garden terrace, and a spacious dining room, perfect to celebrate any occasion in style. The beautiful bespoke kitchen/breakfast room is well equipped to delight any chef, and double doors lead out onto the garden seating terrace. There is a double bedroom on ground floor with toilet facilities. Within 2 minutes’ drive is an award-winning Indian restaurant, shop and a farm shop selling local produce. Great walks, and excellent cycling routes from doorstep.
