Positive: Would be great to get a small pack of bacon or salmon with the breakfast but everything else from the breakfast basket was excellent. It was lovely that property owner provided hair styling tools and plenty of good quality toiletries. Bath balls were an absolute gem. Late check out was a very pleasant surprise and that changed our experience a lot. Bed was super comfy and bedding amazing too.
Negative: Our BBQ wasn’t working so we had to use the neighbour one after the permission of the helpline assistant. Disappointed with the fact there was no fire wood prepared for us in the house or outside. And it was too late to call the help line. There was only 2 knifes fro cheese but not a good cutting knife available for cooking. On a website it stated there is a restaurant on the property but it looked empty and unattended.
Summary: Serene location, lovely house decoration, thoughtful welcome basket.
