Positive: I liked the fact there was plenty of space, and all the beds were made ready for us with plenty of pillows. Apart from the crockery/cutlery being dirty which I put down to previous guests, the whole cottage was absolutely gleaming. It felt homely, and had everything we needed for our stay. The picnic tables were a nice feature, as was the sauna (we didn’t use on this visit but will give it a try in future) We were even able to do an Easter egg hunt for the kids in the small garden area which was a joy. We will visit again!

Negative: Lack of WiFi, and it not being noted on the initial booking page. I wouldn’t mark the cottage down for it, but it is a little disappointing as it’s also really tough to get signal here. Personally I would suggest it for consideration with the owners, even if there was a small charge per stay, as it meant difficulty for us with our autistic daughter who does rely on her tablet during the day/evening.

Summary: Lovely, homely cottage. Spotlessly clean and would visit again.
