Dating back to 1604, Ashfield House offers luxurious rooms, country cooking and a walled garden. All rooms are individually decorated and are ensuite. The rooms have Egyptian cotton bedding. Each room has a TV, a well stocked refreshments tray and bottled water. The garden suite also has a lounge with feature fireplace and wood stove. A full English is served at Ashfield House. Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Perfect location in beautiful village. Comfy B and B in characterful building. Good breakfast. Lovely extras like a bottle of wine in the room and flapjacks in Reception.
Negative: It was hard to use the shower. The pressure was so strong it would not remain in its holder and we ran through the hot water very quickly.
