In nearby Karlskrona (15 km) you can discover the Naval Museum, Barnens Gรฅrd, stores and restaurants. In archipelago excursion boats go from Sturkรถ to Karlskrona. Day trips to Glasriket, Kalmar and รland are also recommended.
