Positive: Good location, in the North of the island. Good driving distance within an hour to all the nice beach, site destinations in the North of the island. The place itself was nice, convenient. No issues, it was a great stay. The aircon is definitely a lifesaver in that heat. Supermarket within 15min drive from the house. Dont use Lola as a supermarket down the road, their prices are silly compared to the supermarket in the closest town, dont remember the name, but if you drive from the airport to the house, you wont miss it, its in the way, also ensure to rent a car to move around, maybe a more powerful engine, the 1.2L peugeot 108 we had was ok, but struggled up the mountains on occasion.
Negative: I want to stress that this is merely a note, the place is great, and we had no issues, loved the stay. Just a note here for when you arrive, there is no washing machine, and as its a tropical environment, there's a few ants, grasshoppers, little lizards and just general bugs around as they have a beautiful garden, but if you keep windows or the front door open, they will get in to the house, which they seem to like indoors, as we discovered. Also, watch when you flush the toliet and use the tap, there's a little bit of a shock, but nothing to.worry about. Great place, great stay.
