Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: It was clean (except for pile of mail in hallway), other guests were pleasant. Park across the road was perfect for the dog and I felt safe walking her late evening. The traffic noise was awful but I guess it's a useful location on balance.
Negative: The road noise was terrible and during the hot nights, even with the fan provided, had to sleep with the windows open and the locals were in full shouting mode at 2am on a weeknight. When we arrived there were 2 women fighting in the street! Couldn't get a deliveroo....assume address is blacklisted maybe?? The furniture is rickety, no safety mat in shower, lukewarm water out of kitchen tap undrinkable (could have provided a carafe or something to refrigerate tap water). What is with the neon green light and no lamps, Bedside lamp was missing parts and "leaned". Lack of numbered parking bays meant we played parking tetris with other guests. No toiletries. Sitting on the sofa was like sitting on a brick wall! No clue what the £200 deposit was for!! Stayed in similar setup in Farnborough and the deposit was £50.
Summary: We wouldn't stay again.
