Sanibel Island is part of Lee County, Florida. Its directly west of Fort Myers and Pine Islands, south of Captiva Island, due east of Marco Island, and north of Boca Grande.

There are so many attractions and travel activities to enjoy on Sanibel Island. Here is a list of what you MUST do here:

  1. Rent a Boat
    The best way to travel around the island is by boat, whether it be a canoe or yacht! Grab some friends and family members and rent out one of these bad boys for an hour, a day, or however long you feel necessary.
  2. Visit the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary
    Make sure to travel inland and check out the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary! There are trails that lead through this beautiful, natural habitat. If youre feeling especially adventurous, grab a kayak or canoe and travel through a mangrove tunnel of sorts. If not, just relax under a tree on the bank and take it all in.
