Summary: I was in Mauritius for work and booked this hotel an hour before I checked in without really researching it at all. It was superb. I stayed for 2 nights all-inc. The staff were lovely - polite but also fun to talk to. I had an amazing massage in the spa (by Cedric). I took a hobbie cat out and spent a morning zipping up and down the bay (though got told off for staying out too long!!!). Meals were decent for the price, though two nights didn’t qualify me for the a la carte restaurants, the buffet was fine. I really liked the bar and the huge selection of cocktails. The room was spot on. It had a fan so you don’t always have to use the air con, the tuck shop concept was great (you go to the counter and they just give you what you want with soft drinks, beers, tea, ground coffee, milk etc). There are a few feline staff members and one liked to snooze on my balcony - never tried to come in the room though. Excellent wifi throughout the resort, even on the beach. If you stay after check out time you can book showers.
