Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Great Ryokan experience. It has several Onsen options: traditional bath within the room, private onsen, public onsen (open to hotel guests), and Open Air onsen.
Negative: It's a bit of a walk (800m 10 mins) from the train station, and most places to eat. But they provide a shuttle from the hotel upon departure. Since they were fully booked and we booked a bit late, we were not able to avail of their meal options. A bit pricey, as for most Ryokan options.
Summary: Great 2-night Ryokan stay to explore the Hakone area.
